There's some truth to that. Not so much killing rail projects, but the thought that we would move to driverless pods. You'd just go to a location, put in your destination, and off you go. You'd just be 'routed' automatically to your destination.

Yes. I actually see the SL3 being used as a faster way to get to the Blue Line. It will take half the time verses existing bus routes. Can't wait to see what the numbers look like after a few months of riders.

Climate. Their climate is far warmer than ours. The biggest issue I see with the Proterra buses is it's no bueno in cold weather. Sure it can be done but the technology isn't quite there yet for us.
