Yep, looks like a heated sidewalk, nice touch!

BGI Office Tower (Massport Parcel A2) | 401 Congress Street | Seaport

Looks that way. I really hope they have a tenant for this, or pre-covid financing in place, would be great to see this built and fill in that hole!

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

S100/SF site cost, $600/SF construction, $2-300/SF soft costs.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

You can't spend $1,000/SF to build affordable housing.

The St Regis Residences (former Whiskey Priest site) | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Slurry wall complete is a great sign, will be nice to see this one start to rise!

Echelon Seaport | 133-135 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Agreed... but I'm sure there will be a lot more programming coming to the courtyard and once all the retail fills in this is going to be a pretty cool little plaza.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Sucks... but a lot better than the alternative hole in the ground.

Parcel 12 | Massachusetts Avenue at Boylston Street | Back Bay

Wow, that's a big vote of confidence in the economy, Covid be damned!

The St Regis Residences (former Whiskey Priest site) | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

There's a HUGE American flag hanging off one of the cranes here this weekend, very cool!

Totally agree, hopefully that waterfront cafe comes to fruition, would be a great addition to the channel area.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

I assume they have to just put everything on hold while they line up financing, no point in spending more of their own money if it's not going to get finished. I've no idea what the appetite is for funding a spec office tower now but I'd imagine this is going to be down for a while, hopefully...

BGI Office Tower (Massport Parcel A2) | 401 Congress Street | Seaport

What are the odds of this getting financed?

The St Regis Residences (former Whiskey Priest site) | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Gunner - Great pic's of the ongoing slurry wall construction, they must be close to wrapping this up now?

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Seems like they didn't have financing in place pre-covid, which is strange, but they must know, or be comfortable, that they can finance rentals instead.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Condos will be converted to apartments, not sure what will happen to the affordable units that were part of this project unless another funding source can be found.

Is that from Thomas Park? That chimney in the first photo needs some help :)!

    Boston NIMBY Politics and Strategies

Agreed, this is a huge blow to NIMBY's across the State. Haven't read the briefs but not sure if it will be helpful to Chaifaro and the State in their lawsuit with CLF. The good news is that CLF are transactional, so I'm sure Chaifaro will be able to negotiate a payoff rather than being tied...

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

That's kind of my point though, you get all the services of a 5 star hotel (maid service, room service, Concierge, Butlers, pool, spa, etc.) without having to deal with the transient nature of a hotel (strangers next to you on a treadmill, people you've never seen before in the pool with your...

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

I would say the biggest competitor to One Dalton is the St. Regis Residences, but time wise you are right, probably 18 months away... and Raffles is probably 24 months away. After that, there's currently very little competition in sight for these three, for 5 star ultra luxury residences.
