The tracks to Newburyport are unfortunately long gone, but by what I see, you could run a Fitchburg-Lowell-Haverhill service.

Going back to an extension to Millis, could a double tracked Franklin line even carry Franklin, Foxboro and Walpole services in a RR setting?

Just a question for future stations/equipment. If we installed automatic “platform extenders” on coaches, would it allow full high level platforms on lines that can’t have them due to freight clearances?

Definitely good, but ”rebranding” even as simple as one word would be expansive with the size of the CR system. Depending on how common (I don’t really know) key bus routes and communities are used, those could more easily be changed.

On the topic of the route location, would running it via Chelsea be faster to getting to a new central station than the blue line to aquarium + a people mover or BL branch?

Would 60’ cars even be possible even with the loop closed? I feel like we should model them after Paris. Make them slightly longer and add another set of doors.

From my 5 minute search, except until it went to a 2d map, I think continuous electrification should be possible on at least half of the line, and I’m sure a proper BEMU should be able to handle the remainder of the route.

I know it couldn’t be used as a test due to boarding heights, would would a BR class 745/755/756 (which is technically a FLIRT) adjusted for east coast standards (higher loading gauge, wider) work?
