There's Vertex, sure, and I know that going back 10-15 years this was part of the plan. But now that it's filling out, I haven't seen any building plans with dedicated biotech/pharma lab space. Did I miss something?

Glass is flying up this building. 6 full floors - all of this was done in the month of May. 18 full floors of steel completed by my count.

Someone on the Boston reddit saw the balloons float up there. The Boston Run 2 Remember was Sunday, and the route went nearby. Maybe it was from that?

Saw the old Remax building at 420 Harvard Ave was knocked down in the last few weeks. I went back in this thread to 2015 and didn't see any info. Turns out there's a 25 unit, 4.5 floor building going in under Chapter 40B. Looks like it was originally going to be a bit taller at like 6 stories...

The 'Unchoke the Throat' meeting slides are out and contains a good deal of information on the current proposals for the throat and West Station. Contrasts their plan vs. the current DOT plan nicely.

Don't tell the Red Sox, but there's a building going up that's ruining their historic view. :rolleyes: From last night's game. This actually got me thinking about the crane. Last night, the crane was a solid blue/red stripe up the side of the building, without doing any of its LSD-trip color...

I've been to a few of the community meetings, and the traffic engineers insist that this is needed for all the traffic going on and off the Pike at rush hour. But yes, this is going to be a new neighborhood criss-crossed by roads as large as Melnea Cass or Seaport Boulevards.

I work across the Charles in the MIT area, so it just pokes out over the Sheraton. It noticeably stalled after it broke the Sheraton roofline, but in the last month it's really moving. I'm definitely on board with the floor per week quote they said near the beginning.

BLDUP has some new photos on their website and FLICKR of the Allston Square development. This is the highway overpass/Regina Pizza area of Cambridge St. Looks bigger than I thought: 353 units (apts/condos) split between 6 different buildings (but it looks like it's really 5) 189 parking spaces...

I was staying at the Sheraton last night for a bachelor party - 26th floor view. The window makes the images a little wonky.

I was at the game yesterday - row 10, center field. Pretty much the final look from the ballpark with the exterior almost done.

Horrible picture, but you can actually see the new building looking up the Charles from Harvard Bridge. Extends the skyline from this angle at least!

This was posted in the Boston subreddit the other day by a contractor that works on site. Quite the view from the top!

I believe this has to do with the Grand Junction railroad line going into Cambridge at the BU Bridge. It crosses under the I-90 viaduct/over Soldier's Field Road. If SFR is under the viaduct I don't think it could cross to the north side. Kind of a shame actually, because this would be pretty smart.
