I didn't think of that. Sorry. But we are finally about to see the end of the controversy in that area that's been in hot water for years ever since the track yard was removed. And BTW, the work will be similar to the work that was done for the Comm Ave Bridge Replacement. :)...

The Massacusetts Turnpike Authorirty or Mass. Dot will soon begin the bridge replacement work that's needed to bring the road work up to date & remodel or redo the area near the Newton area where Route 128/95 & the Mass. Pike meet.. It's been a long time coming & I think this is it. :)

This is what it felt like riding the old Hawkers on the Blue Line. After a while, the Orange Line's old Hawkers felt the same way!! I felt hopping mad!!! Hah!!!! :eek:

There' a bridge somewhere along the Northeast Corriddor that turns to let boats trough, similar to the one in Boston that closed. It is being replaced with a new & higher one that lets the traffic on the water go under it, but it's not completed yet. Supposedly, it's not ready yet. :unsure:

Is the Avelia Liberty delayed again? Why in the world does this train just keep on being put off from going into service again, & again, & again?!!!!!!!

In that pic, you can also see the old Orane Line El running past the Holy Cross Cathedral. As kids, we rode that line all the time to the barber school that our dad sent us to, to get a haircut!!!!!!!! :)

The 2 tallest buildings back then were the old John Hancock & the Custom House Tower (now the Marriott Hotel). It was before Boston started getting a redo with new office towers.

Seems like a long time away. :(

Why can't you seem to understand what I'm saying? All that I'm saying is that there were imperfections that have occured on the line regardless of who was at fault or whatever. You're blatently disputing me when you know that things have occured on the line. :mad: :mad:

I'm just saying that there has been problems on the line practically since it opened. Not blaming anyone, just commenting. but I had 4 children with me when I rode the line. What if something happened to them?!! Thank God it didn't!!! They like to go train riding!!!! They'd probably do it...

CRRC has been slow in getting the new cars to the MBTA for the longest time. But I guess that no one even knew that this would happen!! I wish & hope that this crappy co is not ever chosen to make any more railcars for the MBTA again. Ever!!!!! :mad: :mad:

The GLX has had more than it's share of problems & crashes!! First it was the tracks which were laid wrong, causing the whole thing to become a slow zone. Then there was a derailmentr not too long ago. Now another crash!!! What's next?!!!!!!!!! :eek: :eek:

Before, it was the Orange Line that needed them first because the old Hawkers were breaking down & catching fire. They never were given a midlife rebuild. And so, they just went on & on, & on until the wheels came off, so to speak. Now the rest of the Orange Line's new railcars are on hold...
