Apparently, you never had to commute through/to Everett.

I suppose if you live in Boston and the immediate suburbs then the Rev's in Everett will be very appealing. But for those living outside of 495, it's a non-starter. Getting to Everett sucks.

I like it. The streetscape is inviting. Always like it when architects incorporate archways.

Are these storage tanks still in use by Exxon? If so, where do they intend to re-supply the local depots? Those tanks are huge.

I think the zoning height limit it quite high, maybe exceeding 800'? Perfect for a high-rise.

Thanks for the response. I didn't realize that the Governor of the state has/had such an active roll in the operation of the T. I thought it would have been up to MassDOT management ,or lack of it, and other various transportation agencies. But ultimately, the buck would stop at his office.

So I'm curious, what did Gov Baker do, or didn't do, so warrant such harsh criticism?

Viewing the previous pic (and thanks for uploading that) I see now why they invested in the jumbo screen, more room for advertising. 😉
