If you don't want to see buildings when you're in the Arboretum, shouldn't the Arboretum buy all the land around it so you can't see those buildings? But wait, then that land would be in the Arboretum and you could see buildings from it.

It's interesting to compare this project to the Dot Ave rezoning projects, where they're planning parks along interior streets surrounded by towers of res/commercial and not putting them directly on Dot Ave. And Dot Ave is much less busy.

The Southie busses are some of the most frequent in the City and have very short rides places you want to go.

This is great. So much housing and actual activation for Boston Ave instead of leaving it a wasteland of rail on one side and parking lots on the other. Height is the way to go.

Looks like a slightly more varied version of the Midtown Hotel redevelopment. Seems a little silly not to go much taller here, esp given the zoning for the bank across the street and what will likely come up at Parcel 15, but nice looking building.

The 1149-55 Harrison Building is pretty crazy. 3 stories, surface parking, well below even the city's paltry density limits. Wondering what the story is here...exactly 10 units doesn't buy you relief, nor does limiting yourself to 3 stories?

Boston has had one of the tightest, if not the tightest, hotel market in the continental US for years now. Construction costs would be hard to see given this building is already over 6 stories and needs a gut rehab. We can be friendly here.
