Im liking all the balconies. Fun texture/edges juxtaposed with Akamai.

It has some subtle underglow happening on the bottom half of the side panels in the morning. Maybe light is reflecting off the Christian Science plaza, or maybe just from the building right across the street from it? Either way it’s a nice effect.

Some very interesting urban fabric to contend with. Dynamic and subtle facade moves for sure, and I think it’s a decent nod to the Hancock with the big vertical seam and all. Looking nice as it gets taller and proportions slim up. Though I do wish the side panels were a little less panel-ly.

Took the glx from Union this morning into Boston and walked back to Kendall - was able to catch cool glimpses of the tower .

My first walk thru/under. I do like it. One thing tho…it really darkens the interior. Also - what’s up with the glass panels in the last pic, are they replacing some?

Say what you will about the brick. But it’s flawlessly executed. Fills the void between and ties together Johnson and Kresge. Not to mention the performance space is incomparable both acoustically and visually. Highly recommend a visit.

It’d be great to finally do something on this site. Also - the 90’s called and it wants those renderings back. ;)
