Walked by today, and they're starting to excavate deeper with the foundation work. The first set of shoring struts are being installed. A recent article in the Crimson doesn't point to many new details other than an expected December 2027 opening date. A few more images from online:

If you talk to airline employees, we could've used hundreds more hotel rooms since at least the early 2010's. No vacancies across the city left airlines very limited options if flights got cancelled.
