This is an excellent point and makes perfect sense. It's gonna take 10 years for the trees to mature, till they do this will be a huge expanse with lots of under used green space.

I'm not sure anyone is complaining about the amount of residential being built, It's clear that it's needed and will be a welcome additio. People are complaining about the aesthetic, how it looks. Took the T in to North Station today. Nice and fast over the viaduct. Kinda felt like some sort of project closure. Also the train was packed at 8.30am. Felt like it had been running for years. Credit where it is due. It's beginning to be a great public transit service!

They mentioned in their promo stuff that they were fixing it during the orange and green line closure of Sep '22. Over a year ago. They've since closed the line multiple times with no progress on that slow zone. Kinda wish they'd just come out and tell the public what the problem is.
