Northeastern submitted this iteration of the building in December 2023. Seems like a long time to be "preparing documents". I wonder if the need to replace White Hall has anything to do with the delay.

Very interesting. I am glad that BU finally ran out of old industrial buildings to rehab e.g. Cummington St.

Fenway dorms are already full and they still had to house 125 students at the Hyatt.

BU is currently housing 120 students in the Hyatt in Cambridge. How are they going to house an additional 600 displaced Warren Towers people for 3 years?

Tufts recently put up 10 foot high glass walls around their library terrace to prevent incidents.

Northeastern is proposing an academic building on its triangle portion of the block. Given their recent buildings, it may soften this bulk.

Northeastern's new IMP shows a mid-rise academic building on its wedge of that block.

Given the condition of Matthews, Northeastern cannot afford to have this drag out for years like the City did with the 840 Columbus residence hall.
