I love that they kept many of the mature trees that surround that parcel. If only more of Maine realized the resource and beauty that grows all around us.

Totally agree. Maine in general doesn't seem to care about maintenance of public spaces, landscaping, etc....and winter clean-up is usually left to spring and summer rainstorms.
Not surprised that hotel plans are still popping up in Portland.....has to have one of the highest average hotel rates (excluding taxes) in the country.

Thank god that they went with a realistic pine tree. I prefer Dirigo but at least it won't be a total embarrassment if the pine tree wins. The one created by the Portland flag store with the simple pine tree is dumb.

Hey guys…went down to Costco the other day. Are there any plans to widen Payne Rd between Hannaford and Costco? What is it…1 mile (or less)? Come on Scarborough…the area and traffic is growing quickly! It’s a ridiculous little stretch to travel.
