New official renderings for JPMorgan Chase's headquarters at 270 Park Ave just dropped. The tower itself is interesting in shape and how it expresses it's structure, and I'm into how it is raised off the ground like 175 Park, but that ground floor is a disgustingly empty no-man's land...

I am absolutely loving the pleated façade. The fractured reflections of the sky are so interesting. As the glass gets further up we should see some spectacular sunset images with the pleats catching different colors of sky in vertical stripes all the way up the building.
