Is there anything new / proposed for new buildings in Boston / Cambridge? It seems like we're in the doldrums now for new construction after a prolonged building boom.
I doubt that any tourist visiting the city would offer a critique of, nice city, but the lack of sexy lighting of the skyline was a big disappointment.
For MGH to finance such a grossly expensive building ($2B ??) proves how much profit our healthcare industry realizes. Just keep people sick so they continue to generate revenue and profits for the healthcare industry and big pharma.
Probably gonna get a lot of hate but never have I been in awe of the Citgo sign, especially knowing that it's a Venezuelan state-owned oil company filled with corruption. I realize its an iconic symbol in Fenway but honestly couldn't care less.
I would have expected that to be much higher percentage. Personally, I can't even recall the last time I actually drove into Logan. Typically it's bus service.
At least they are finally getting rid of the blight of the neighborhood. Once removed, then perhaps that will be the impetus to get something aesthetically pleasing and functional.
