    Crazy Transit Pitches

So, if this is a crazy transit pitch, not on it's merits but because it is too expensive, then so is the Red/ Blue connection, South Coast Rail phase 2, Blue Line to Lynn etc.. right?

    AI bot for AB

I use AI in the browser to find out stupid random things about the forum. For example: "The earliest use of the term "facadectomy" on the ArchBoston forum appeared on June 30, 2008, in a thread discussing the preservation practice of facadism. The initial 2008 post identified Paul Rudolph's...

    USPS Complex | Fort Point

If you photoshopped the actual skyscrapers into the background it wouldn't put people off so much. It is "entirely realistic," and better than many of the initial proposals for other projects

Copley Square Revamp | Back Bay

Tallest Buildings Out of the Ground and Growing

This thread is not actually about a specific development project therefore it is "out of scope" of the development forum and "should be argued about somewhere else."

Copley Square Revamp | Back Bay

That's right, Copley Square then became a concrete depression like the pit in Harvard Square where the local kids and other riff raff would hang out. It was that way until about the 1990s. It wasn't a functioning place that people visited like today

    Dorchester Infill and Small Developments

Wow, that is 970,000 sq feet in Lower Mills and nobody is complaining. I hope this works out better for HYM Investments than P3. I can't help but think this is the city's way of saying thank you for trying and don't get pissed about the Madison Park thing

To anyone under 40, REM was a popular band from the 90's and I believe the lyric is "don't get caught in foreign towers" not Warren Towers

Nubian Sq. Parcel P-3 (nee Tremont Crossing) | Roxbury

They will say anything, even parroting the Republicans. It is the exact same Diane Wilkerson led crowd that gets a disproportunate amount of press in the Globe and the local blogs. They hate the Blue Hill Ave bus lanes, they hate White Stadium and Madison Park and hope they fail, damn the...
