Forgot to mention Martins Point too! Updated pic of the ongoing construction.

Difference between MHT and “all the other airports” is that they’re all destinations that support themselves. MHT is to BOS what the WNBA is to the NBA- the lifeline. Sorry for the political incorrectness there but that was a layup.

Casco street has a building under construction, USM is finishing/just finished their arts center, Monument Square hotel conversion (forget the exact address), Thompsons Point hotel is being closed out as well. A slow period for real estate in the northeast is the winter. Spring will pick back up...

    Hobson's Landing | Aloft Hotel | 383 Commercial Street | Portland

What a fantastic project that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves! Cool shot from above with some of the skyline in the background- found via a leasing ad on Instagram

    South Portland, Maine

The Maine Mall is in good shape! Limited vacancy, great activity throughout the week, and solid anchor tenants. I do agree that change will come eventually. The mall would benefit greatly from redeveloping around the back side parking lots. I’ve reached out to Brookside Properties before (the...

Tallest building in town, can you name the city?

Greed and ego may kill the time and temp building for sure… glad next door is in good hands. A developer who cares about his community and the $ compared to a hotel developer who only cares about the $.

    Portland International Jetport | PWM

Wasn’t the red circled area the claimed “wetland” that the Jetport would be disrupting with their small surface parking expansion? Absolutely no wetlands on that parcel… this was what Stroudwater and the other bored Portlanders complained about at the meetings- that wetlands were being disturbed...

Portland, ME - New Construction Continued

Route 1 from Falmouth to East Deering is turning into quite the drive! All the new construction in Falmouth, then Martins Point (pictured here) which is still doing site work, and finished up by the Roux Institute which can be seen before getting onto I-295. Surprised there isn’t a Martins...

All for more accessible and up to standard paths. Thanks for the info cneal. Just mind boggling they would choose to do this to a rail line with so much room on either side to have the same result!

What in the world are we doing… this is “progressive” thinking?! How about the 20 foot wide path next to the rail tracks?! I’m baffled with how backwards this is.

    South Portland, Maine

This development gives me an opportunity to preach to the choir: Mill Creek/Knightville - a neighborhood situated about a mile from one of Americas most walkable, dense, historic, vibrant, in-demand neighborhoods: The Old Port. Yet, the urbanization period in US History left a shell of what...

    South Portland, Maine

One of the MANY parcels in the Knightville neighborhood in South Portland that could use this! There’s no reason that the skate shop, bank and another store or two won’t be right there on the ground floor when completed! Right along the edge of the park too. This is a huge win for Sopo! Any more...

89 Elm Street | Port Properties Bayside Phase 1A | Portland

Not much verticality yet but I’m so excited to see this one take shape. Tight footprint, big ol’ crane coming soon, and a large building in a once sad/underutilized parcel in Bayside. Pretty cool to imagine this street view perspective in 6 months then again in 2 years!

89 Elm Street | Port Properties Bayside Phase 1A | Portland

Portlander, good call but I’m just now seeing this! I’ll get a night shot later as there isn’t much visible progress yet. At night - the building is lit up and that’s something the city hasn’t seen for some time!!
