My sister lived here maybe 20 years ago on the top floor. Was a fire hazard then. She also had a guy do an infrared check on the walls and ceiling ... there was zero insulation. The money she dropped on heating that place when right up and out the roof.

Has to be a parking garage with sports facilities in the background. I love the idea of Cassidy Point being redeveloped, especially removing the toxic coal and other materials. But I might be the outlier and think this location might be a mistake? Unless there is definitely parking, a hotel...

Also a Westbrook resident. Rt 25, Spring Street, Stroudwater, Main Street, Saco Street, New Gorham Road, Longfellow .... genuinely can't handle more congestion. The MAJOR issues with this area are the turning lanes leading up to Mechanic Street, Saco Street, and the merge with Main Street...

Oh gotcha. I thought Gorham was reserving that for an industrial park with many businesses? I'd imagine Amazon would need all of the space?

Can anyone clarify the proposed location? Either of those in Red? The spot in Green is the new Industrial Park plan, right? The spot in Blue I think isn't the spot they're speaking of?

Asking again bc why not ... So is this area not big enough to consider for the Amazon Distribution Center? The access to the routes, roundabouts etc might be more ideal? It's literally just waiting for something.

It looks more like an industrial factory building than anything else. Also gives an appearance like the exterior of a baseball stadium for some reason. The color schematics are bland, blah, monotone. Will be hard to tell if or when the building needs exterior cleaning. The "industrial"...
