Renaming it and all the criticism is stupid. If that were really an issue - we'd have to rename a ton of rivers, mountains, islands, locations. Are we supposed to completely erase the history of the past in order to be virtuously guilt free? NGL this is effing STUPID.

They could really build something significant on this site. It'd be a huge disappointment if a developer stops at a stubby 4-story thing.

Apparently there was just an Affordable Housing conference in Portland to address the above. One thing they noted was that UMaine has 3D Printed some homes that are exceeding expectations and are suitable for our climate.

Yeah ... sorry, I hate the "Saw-Tooth" factory-esque roof. Seemed like the design included a lot of waste and the windows would cause light and heat issues that would affect any art exhibited there.
