It's a thing.....but ebbs and flows with the game times and dates (September, late start games and Homecoming are busier). I think that the new lots will be better suited for tailgating and traffic flow.

I think if a garage is ever built it will either be near the Union/Collins Center......or possibly where the Gannett lot/Cutler Health Center footprint is.....I've outlined that area in this image.

The basic gist of his idea remains.....there was a better use and layout than 2 hotels surrounded by shit loads of surface parking lots.

Excavation has started on the Dunn/Corbett lot across from the Morse Arena site. This lot will be expanded and reconfigured to add more spaces and improve traffic flow.

One of 2 elevator shafts topped off. More concrete pouring for exterior walls. For those of you familiar with campus....Long Rd. is being completely repaved.....and realigned near Memorial Gym and the sharp turn near the Mall (visible if you look closely through the concrete boom pump). Old...

At least they are keeping the half dead one on the sidewalk.

Construction is well underway on Morse Arena in Orono. Concrete footers finishing up and elevator shafts and other sub-infrastructure being worked on. Hopefully we see steel rising within the next month!

This saga is just so.....weird. Kinda matches the vibe of Portland though.

Agreed on BGR. I think BIA needs to take a page out of Bozeman Yellowstone and become Bangor Acadia International.

Jet Blue was such a great airline at one time.....sad to see its decline. Breeze is definitely stepping up as sort of a lovechild of Jet Blue & Southwest.
