Skylines and Developments of the US/World

It's actually going to be the exact same height as South Station Tower. It looks like a fat stumpy Devon. I'd say it also solidifies Omaha as the most top-heavy skyline in the country. Here's the city's Top 10. Only 2 buildings over 500' (or 150 meters / 492') but they both far exceed 600'...

I see the resemblance. Here's a cool shot that also has Boston visible in the background. https://crosspointma.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Cross-Point-Location.jpg

Yeah but you don't really see that part unless you're right up next to it. Otherwise only the tower stands out, and due to its location obviously stands out a lot.

    "Dirty Old Boston"

I would have had no idea this was Boston if not for the Longfellow Bridge. A0050321947 Boston ferry by Robert Wallace, on Flickr

Why did you also remove the whole top floor?

Housing (Supply Crisis & Public Policy)

Let's stay simplistic. If this so called household was paying a real mortgage (and not the variable rate version that crashed the market back in 2009) then they would owe a little bit less at the end of every year. However, that is not the case here. The balance continues to get larger, not...

Stumbled upon a new reddit thread for this tower. Generally positive except for the crown.

Uhhhhh........... Sorry, can't see the resemblance. 101's is simple and graceful, as opposed to tacky as hell.

Old Port Square (née Canal Plaza) | Portland

The windows become less functional because that second layer is going to severely limit the visibility angles. What's the purpose of having that grid cladding jutting out so far from the main structure? This building should give sweeping views of the area but that layer makes the view a lot...

Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

I found this insane looking render for Parcel D4. Has it ever been posted before? As with many buildings here, I think it's really bad, but uniquely really bad so still adds something positive.
