I like how they barely compromised on height across all alternatives. I was expecting it to come back significantly shorter, maybe 12-18 stories (or worse!) instead of 24-26.

The dorm by Northeastern is at least 230' and underway. Also there's a 260' hospital building in Longwood. Depending on the speed of the foundations those are the candidates.

I think it's dumb that the whole campus looks the same. Each building is nice enough on its own but it's downright silly to have a full grouping of them. I had to take a preparatory class at one of the buildings and found the campus confusing for this very reason.

I remember it was "going up" when I still lived in Somerville, and I moved out of there in 2011.

It's even better if you stay on the ramp towards South Station, a slow-roll directly into the downtown skyline.
