The day to day of this thread is so amusing. “It’s definitely dead” “There are workers on site” “pictures of workers on site”

There is no cheap way to do it. It’s likely Red over Red.

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

Yes, most “elite”/advanced Minuteman cyclists will abandon the bike trail at Mass Ave or Davis Square and ride on the streets past that. The Somerville Community Path is not designed for fast bike riding. If you plan on riding at speed, stick to the streets.

One Post Office Square Makeover and Expansion | Financial District

I hadn't realized they were building out the cantilevers. That's a bummer.

    MBTA Bus & BRT

If I felt like it, I could compile enough information on the McConnells federal dealings that makes a clear case for corrupt behavior. But innuendo works for now.

They really followed through on significantly narrowing Somerville Ave through the square. Somerville is on the right track.

    Crazy Transit Pitches

I do think any major modifications to the Minuteman to make room for RLX, especially ones that lead to more severe grade changes and/or adds more grade-crossings would be massively fought by a predictably small but vocal group.

Michelle Wu To Run For Mayor

Fun fact: you don't have to live in a Congressional District to represent it. You just have to live in the state. Obviously it's politically wise to live in the CD, but Wu, legally-speaking, would not have to move to run in a district two blocks to her east.

Michelle Wu To Run For Mayor

Pedantic, but probably Top 5. Speaker, Senate Pres, and Gov are the trifecta in that order. Mayor of Boston is after that competing with the State AG.

    Crazy Transit Pitches

The rapid transit tracks would need to duck into a short tunnel under Winchester Center to get past it. No way to widen the viaduct or reroute the locomotive ROW.

    Crazy Transit Pitches

Yeah. Arlington would likely welcome an RLX with open arms in 2020s compared to 1980s. Winchester will probably be happy with RUR frequencies and potentially a GLX that eats Wedgemere and stubs out before the overpass in the town center.
