South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Trying to understand what's going on in those vault photos. Are they cutting and scoring the sheet metal to prep for some cladding? Or are those lines additive, like some set of studs/furring? Very cool to see.

Not to rehash old topics, but would you be open to respacing/unstacking the station names some? Honestly the Brookline Village and Blandford have been my pet peeves for awhile so I just gave a shot at shifting them as an example 😅 I know there are limitations elsewhere but these one seemed...

Northeastern University Multipurpose Athletic Facility | 262 St. Botolph Street | Fenway

I guess they just... talked about this verbally with no images? I find it sort of funny that there's not a single photo of the existing arena, let alone the entry arch - the one remaining architecturally significant moment. Would be so cool to see that preserved into the new iteration like it...

This is so great to see finally open and it's very nicely done overall. So glad they didn't skimp on the landscape elements and seating like certain Seaport culprits... (Echelon) What's up with the current trend in hotel interior design that dictates 20 different kinds of furniture though? Did...

    The Official MBTA System Map

Small nitpick, it's weird how Franklin park is scrunched up vertically and the 16/31 pass south of it. I would just stretch it back to normal and have the bus lines run through it. Morph the NE park edge to snap along the 22. It's graphically triggering seeing the bus lines just barely graze the...

This is a small tweak, but I'd suggest keeping station names to one line if possible. In particular, Blanford St and Melnea Cass Blvd stick out. Brookline Village also looks cramped. And the space between the names, accessibility symbol, and transit line looks a hair too close. I'd double it.

A friend of mine lives in 10 Taber next door. It's no Mass and Cass, but it's slightly... bleak. Nubian station is not a pleasant place later in the night. The square overall feels zapped of life and these upcoming developments are desperately needed.

Wild to me that the stone clad entry column is still incomplete from the failed installation over a year ago.

They've started to clad the platform vaults - only the purely vertical surfaces as of now.

I wish Elkus would put more effort into their paneling designs. They introduce so many joints and it often results in square/squat proportions. That last photo of the corner shows off how stack-of-cubes it ends up looking. Works against the tall double-story reading of the windows. Their...

The BU building is honestly a shoe-in this year. Also the last year WRA's Berklee Tower is eligible.
