All the curved corners, custom masonry, and fluted brick are certainly not cheap. This looks quite nice to me. Hold off judging the material quality based on crappy enscape renderings - brick will never render out properly.

The missing fins are indeed missing and are not a design move. They will be filled in.

Ramler is tiny and virtually invisible to the intersection (I pass here along Park every day and didn't know it existed until recently). If they put some restaurant/drinking anchor tenant in the ground floor that opens onto the park, it would be a nice twin to 401. Or if was more food-truck...

There's a pretty substantial dissonance between Architects, Architecture "enthusiasts" (probably most of this board), and the general public unfortunately.

To be fair, this thing bore the brunt of material shortages and cost inflations over the course of it's design-construction handover. Their contingency is probably a joke at this point.

The visibility of the ground floor piece at the intersection of Blackstone and Hanover is nice. It's very open and glassy. Can't recall if the restaurant is going there or just upstairs.

It's really pretty amazing how fast the cladding on this is going up. They're easily doing 1-2 floors per week while other projects in the area are lucky to do that in a month.

It's probably a skylight. That space faces north/northeast.

The tilt out of the windows on the Boylston face is too shallow of an angle and looks like a mistake rather than an intentional design move. I'm getting echos of the unintelligible facade of its neighbor... I quite like some of the rear facades with the taller windows in brick and square tilted...

The rendering is done with direct sun and sharp shadows. The photo is on an overcast day. This makes an enormous difference.
