I checked out Fort Phoenix last time and enjoyed it, but was on foot in April when I went last. Knowing of the bike path and being able to get over there faster on a bike, you got a deal!

This is great. On a grander scale, about Dedham, does anyone have insight about how and why Dedham is so underdeveloped for a town so close to Boston? I imagine lots of nimbyism for sure, amongst infrastructure being poorly connected, not a great highway connection, and lots of single family...

Took another trip (last one was April on a cold rainy day) from SS to New Bedford for a day trip yesterday (Sunday) and was very pleased with all things about the ride! No slowdown or stops and took about 1 hr 35 down, and about 1 hr 25 up on the way back. Took the 8:20am out and brought bikes...

Took some photos at Oak Grove today, and boy, it's really outdated, especially at the commuter rail platform. Not much for a rider experience, at all. I also think the general area is quiet underdeveloped, probably partly because of NIMBYism nearby

I think about how important more transport to Beachmont especially is -- there will probably be 20K new residents added to just Suffolk Downs alone. Of that number, the commuters into the city should be significant enough to increase BL ridership. I imagine some jobs will be in Suffolk Downs...

This and the Chelsea CR hits the 2nd St / Stop and Shop Redevelopment area. The 104 then goes up to Malden Ctr rather than down 16 (old route)

I think this is the best thread for this. I was walking to Silver Line Way thru the part that's built under the Congress St building, and I realized that almost all caternary is gone, and I hadn't picked up on it. So, battery BRT is here to stay? Also, I can never not see this as a ripe spot...
