South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Yeah - 34 story (398') 252 Huntington; Bulfinch 28 floor midrise; 22 floor Kneeland Street hotel; 22 floor CarGurus building (core is already up); Flower Exchange buildings; and lastly the newly approved 38 story Kendall Square residential. Potentials/proposals for future skyscrapers still...

    The New Retail Thread

Perhaps this is opening in Boston proper to add to the "TV" restaurants like Guy Fieri & Ramsay (although I think Ramsay is in a different echelon).

    Logan Airport Capital Projects

Sorry, I meant addition to the satellite. Closer to the cargo and fire area. There used to be the American Eagle terminal over there. There would probably be room if some things were moved around like said above.

New Red and Orange Line Cars

Don't know if anyone else saw this: deeply saddening and unfortunate: Seems like 1. The door should have had a working sensor if he was entering 2. The train shouldn't have started moving if the door wasn't closed Replacing and maintaining these old fleets is really really important for...

East Boston Infill and Small Developments

Building atop the building that has Eddie C's, TD Bank, Cactus Grill seems long overdue considering the newly redeveloping EBNHC and apartment building next to it. Even just a 4 over 1 there would be an improvement.

East Boston Infill and Small Developments

These two plots will fix a lot - agreed. Some of the buildings in the square could use a facade makeover as well. Things will loook nice once the Grace Apartments finish up across from thus too

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Yeah any building in this spot, due to both surroundings like MT, 33 Arch, 110 Federal, 100 High, 99 High, etc. AND the low FAA clearance, will be diminished

    The New Retail Thread

And the last restaurant announced to open in Clippership Wharf is... ...Mida. https://bostonrestaurants.blogspot.com/ Not sure how I feel about an Italian and BBQ restaurant opening in Clippership on the water. I do think these spaces are inevitably doomed to be higher-end restaurants (for...

    Green Line Reconfiguration

I have been in multiple cities which have side platform light rails running in the street on the side (i.e. Charlotte uptown) and everything operates fine. At first I pictured something like this as median only but I think side of road works great.

    Logan Airport Capital Projects

Now that Terminal E's expansion is showing some signs of opening on-time next year - I am curious - could there be proposed new additions to Logan in the next 5-10 years? Is there room for it? Maybe there is room to add on to Terminal A satellite. Compared to other large inland airports (CLT...

    Whats left to build on?

Interesting. Wasn't sure if it was different as it wouldn't require decking

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

I wonder what people think of this: Was it a missed opportunity to not have a parking garage included in the Union Square station/USQ property? What other termini aside from street-running Green Lines don't have parking? Again, maybe this was a victim of the cost-cutting resolution to get this...
