State Street HQ | One Congress | Bulfinch Crossing | West End

Windowgate 2023. What would AB be if we didn't have a tower without windows to annoy us for the next year or more. At least they aren't the plywood choice of 1 Dalton.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Working in hospitality, I found job postings for a new John Fraser restaurant at WT. This is a significant add to the city restaurant scene. From further info i gathered here in NY, that restaurant is signed, and in construction.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Yes, it is. I wondered the same thing. I rode Acela on Tuesday and asked a foreman if the core is going to keep rising. Although an absolutely moronic question, he knew what I meant. He said, 'that's the plan...clear sailing 🤞'

Bulfinch Crossing | Congress Street Garage | West End

there is no way they anticipated this garage taking a almost decade to de-lincoln log. I mean it's barely half down. This thing is an absolute nightmare.

Domino Sugar Redevelopment | 425 Medford Street | Charlestown Waterfront

Just start at 500' for crying out loud - then the 228' becomes a great compromise :)

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Hasn't this been the design for quite some time? Other than the version with the spire, there isn't a whole lot of iterations over the development history. And that is a long history.

What we have going on in Boston right now is as wonderful as any city. I live in hell, Manhattan, I mean. I travel throughout the contiguous US' largest cities and it makes me evermore proud of almost everything Boston has, does and is doing. We nitpick, we complain about height from purely an...

Eli Lilly IGM | 15 Necco Street | Fort Point

Seems like a sale of that parcel(s) would be a nice solution to offset that massive overrun and chip at the compounding debt the USPS rocks annually. It may come down to a fiduciary obligation should it ultimately be presented forward. Further, I would assume the taxes*** paid by the current...

Raffles Boston (40 Trinity Place) | 426 Stuart Street | Back Bay

Exactly right. They have whole entire waiting areas, for Amtrak customers only, with hundreds of seats each. Their food hall also has seating for like 250. They are 'waiting areas' for the exact reason North Station implemented turnstiles. < to mitigate the non-paying loiterers >

Lyra (née The Huntington) | 252/258/264 Huntington Avenue | Fenway

We'll have to see how much it gets VE'd. It has the potential, with the wrong materials, to look like a bad marriage between Hub50 and Avalon NS.

I, also, go by that designation. Although, I have less desirable word for describing NYC. This is my second stint here, 2009-2016 and 2021-present, and I can assure everyone without a shadow of a doubt.. Boston and NYC are, and have been, on two completely opposite trajectories. I've never been...

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

IF there's a sale of the Post Office and land, as it moves South along the water aren't there parcels there that could house an array of talls? I can't remember the height restrictions but maybe it could become a new 'high'ish spine.
