The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Would anyone have any update on the Food Hall opening? With capacity limits ending, maybe something will come up. Time Out is consistently successful, even on Wednesdays - I really think this will do well

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

I was on a walk across McGrath Hwy in Somerville and I looked down onto the Union Square spur tracks and I noticed there is a split in the tracks rising up to the elevated section where it splits with the Medford branch. Is there a configuration there where it is either single-tracked or the...

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

A bit off topic, but on the topic of Gilman Square, does anyone else feel the naming for this station could have been better? I have lived in Somerville in Ball Sq for 2 years and I do not know many individuals who even know what Gilman Square is. There's little culture or businesses around the...

    Fastest Proposal-to-build in MBTA History?

Also, in total time from approval to opening, Greenbush Line wasn't too too bad compared to other large projects (10 years or less?)

    Fastest Proposal-to-build in MBTA History?

I know this is the quiet part, but I wouldn't even include BRT or the busway in this considering the lower level of infra needed (power substations, overhead caterernary/3rd rail, rails, rail yard, rolling stock).

SKY Everett | 114 Spring Street | Everett

Yes I think this is insane but it's also why development needs to garner more support and be galvanized in sprawling areas like Revere, Everett, Cambridge, Somerville (too nimby?). This right here is all the evidence you need that we need to start investing and building nice projects in these...

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

That's a sad loss I know! I never got to visit. Wonder what would replace that huge space

    Roslindale Infill and Small Developments

I wholly agree with developing the MBTA lot on the side closet to Belgrade. When I commuted into the city on that line for 1.5 years as a resident in the square, that side of the lot was rarely occupied AT ALL. A good chunk of the commuters here are pedestrians from local neighborhoods (which is...

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

With the announcement of reopening dates through phase 4 between May 10 and August 1, thus the TD Garden inching back to full capacity and office spaces reopening, we may see the Hub reaching its full use - including the Hub Hall. This project reaching its full potential will be exciting

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

I was thinking that too. The Federal St connection to South Station from the Financial District is. I'm not sure how it wasn't changed to ped only ever

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

It's really exciting to see this finally rising above its neighbors in the area. This parcel has to be one of the longer planned developments maybe along with the South Station Tower. I remember when I was a child and the 75-story design came about and here we are now. I think the South Station...

State Street HQ | One Congress | Bulfinch Crossing | West End

A little bit off topic but also related to the architecture in this transforming square - how much longer until the flatiron lot across the street is up for redevelopment? That would complete this area.

Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

It is quite abandoned however the Southwest Terminal has been renovated in a pretty tasteful way

Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

Finally! As someone who constantly would travel to STL from BOS for work trips, it wasn't too great to be stuck with the 3x/day flights to STL by Southwest. STL is dominated by Southwest and half the airport is shutdown, but I think this route is a good halfway point type of flight for revival

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Above all, I think if situations around being open improve, the food hall plus occupied towers plus fully utilized entertainment will finally allow HoC to hit its peak. We've seen some liveliness of this pre-pandemic, but I'm excited for this at its full operation.

Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

Has anyone been tracking Breeze Airways' launch this year? They will be a hub-busting carrier looking at undeserved routes and undeveloped airports. The company has said that they will be focusing on routes in Southeast US and Northeast US, and maybe the Southern Plains. While it looks like...

    MBTA Bus & BRT

For anyone interested, and F-line you may know, there was a documentary about the OL replacement/tearing down on Washington St done and it tells a great story. Also, in this day with the opinions on BRT, is it viewed as the end solution for street corridors? As in its better than light rail and...

    MBTA Bus & BRT

Forgive me for my lack of knowledge on this, but isn't it kind of redundant to run to Ruggles if you can just transfer at Jackson Square? I can see limiting overcrowding at Jackson and providing two transfer points. And I can see faster bus trips for a longer route. Curious if anyone has an...

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

Can they also fix the location of Savin hill while they're at it correcting the accuracy? It's always kind of been odd how they portray Savin Hill as a separated location.
