  1. Equilibria

    MBTA Bus & BRT

Slides are up from the 11/18 presentation on the Quincy garage: https://cdn.mbta.com/sites/default/files/2021-11/2021-11-18-quincy-bus-facility-mod-meeting-presentation.pdf_0.pdf I don't think I'd seen this chart before:
  2. Equilibria

East of Broadway | 15 Broadway | Everett

The question is whether we want to gum up the Encore thread with a lot of construction photos for this and the other parcels. That thread seems to be mostly about gaming business discussion these days.
  3. Equilibria

East of Broadway | 15 Broadway | Everett

Struggling with whether this goes in a new thread or the Casino thread... https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1p7a_s4lHaE03BIuSBLeEHm_Y0-LFawQg?usp=sharing
  4. Equilibria

775 Huntington Avenue | Mission Hill

A whole bunch of stuff just got posted to BPDA at once on this but here's the most recent BCDC presentation: https://bpda.app.box.com/s/57w660y81rhauek03mi52avypjjpjhvn
  5. Equilibria

Bulfinch Crossing East Parcel | Congress Street | West End

They mention in the slides that the trees may end up being a sidewalk rather than trees.
  6. Equilibria

Bulfinch Crossing East Parcel | Congress Street | West End

BCDC: https://bpda.app.box.com/s/0rttlslydav9hob6h7vioehdtd3b9fhu There's a lot of walkthrough renderings in the link. The MBTA seems to prefer stand-alone headhouses to integrated ones, and I'm not sure why - it seems like it would be better to let a developer or landlord handle maintenance of...
  7. Equilibria

    Union Square D2.1 | 10 Prospect Street | Somerville

In that case, why don't we see it more? I don't remember seeing it before this project...
  8. Equilibria

    Newton Infill and Small Developments

Johnny's Luncheonette is still there, right?
  9. Equilibria

Boynton Yards | 101-153 South Street | Somerville

I'm actually not sure about that. Lab buildings are popping up basically anywhere these days.
  10. Equilibria

Boynton Yards | 101-153 South Street | Somerville

The problem is that if all the people who work in these buildings drive to work from Acton, it's not really TOD.
  11. Equilibria

Suffolk Downs Redevelopment | East Boston

They're all copies of the one in the Seaport.
  12. Equilibria

Boynton Yards | 101-153 South Street | Somerville

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha The best part is that the diagram shows that even the four-story podium is laughably out-of-scale.
  13. Equilibria

    Kendall/MIT Infill and Small Developments

The revision was a significant aesthetic improvement, IMO. The prior version dominated the brick building and looked awkward doing it.
  14. Equilibria

MXD Residential Tower | 135 Broadway | Kendall Square

Some responses to comment. Nothing much about the tower (lots and lots about ventilation stacks), but the substation diagram could imply that the massing has started to evolve: https://www.cambridgema.gov/-/media/Files/CDD/ZoningDevel/SpecialPermits/sp315/Amend2/sp315_amend2response_20211108.pdf
  15. Equilibria

    Kendall/MIT Infill and Small Developments

Renovation of 41 Linskey, with a mobility hub for corporate shuttles and MBTA buses. https://www.cambridgema.gov/-/media/Files/CDD/ZoningDevel/SpecialPermits/sp243/sp243_41linskey_design_20211027.pdf
  16. Equilibria

    Newton Infill and Small Developments

Fencing is up on this site.
  17. Equilibria

Circle Floors Redevelopment | 1911 Revere Beach Parkway | Everett

Stop us if you've heard this one: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1mXScH8xGG9hyZmvwcaRXMteQySZqzdBR 153 more units toward ending the housing crisis!
  18. Equilibria

Assembly Row Development | Assembly Square | Somerville

That's consistent with designs posted here before for Block 7. Odd that they'd call it confidential when it's blatantly obvious to anyone with local knowledge where this is.
  19. Equilibria

    Cambridge Infill and Small Developments

Those comments were pretty funny. I my opinion they were also warranted, and the revised version is much more attractive.
  20. Equilibria

One Mystic | 1 Mystic Avenue | Charlestown

Sounds like they knew what was coming and they responded by both reducing height and adding site area, as BPDA requested. The better question is: why lose 5 floors of housing, just for the sake of losing 5 floors of housing? How is that compatible with a growing, progressive city?
