⚫ Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

On another note, is it safe to say the antenna everyone was dreading has been installed by now and isn't noticeable? Or is there still a chance it comes later?

MBTA "Transformation" (Green Line, Red Line, & Orange Line Transformation Projects)

It may be due to the fact that the work being done previous weekends was in the pit areas at stations, which may have limited movement for workers and equipment.

    BCEC expansion | Seaport

The post office land deal has been years in the making between dozens of agencies, including (I'm probably forgetting some): US Army, Feds, MBTA, Massport, City of Boston Last I heard the PO was to be rebuilt at 525 E Street, taking up a few acres of Army Corps of Engineers land and Massport...

South Station Tower | South Station | Downtown

If it's going to be art deco built in 2020, I think it has to reflect that. Mimicking a style from another period without showing much advancement in technology and design (respectfully and thoughtfully of course) is where I draw the line between good and bad design.

South Station Tower | South Station | Downtown

I'm okay with the tower we have going up, but it definitely could've been better. Perhaps not entirely following the stone and glass to make it appear as if it were always a part of South Station, which is not the case, but a more classically defined tower, following the footsteps of...

New Red and Orange Line Cars

Had my first ride this morning, the beeping wasn't nearly as obnoxious as I was expecting, and for it being in the peak rush, it didn't feel cramped at all.

Pinnacle at Central Wharf (Harbor Garage) | 70 East India Row | Waterfront | Downtown

Well this was a long time coming! I will say, slender was probably the way to go here, and I wouldn't call this much of a slender tower..

MBTA Commuter Rail (Operations, Keolis, & Short Term)

Silica dust is not something to mess with. I've seen how it affects people, not fun... The fact we throw it on our rails for traction is a little concerning, to be honest. It should probably diffuse out to very low levels in wind gusts, but I wouldn't want to 100% trust that assumption.

Wow, probably some big pours coming up soon...

The Quinn (née The Berkeley) | 370-380 Harrison Ave | South End

Good design is subjective, yes, and affordable housing built at historically fast rates is what is desperately needed here. I'm pointing out that we're seeing a nicer precast design on this is due to the fact that the developers have put in a little more money than others in order to get this...

    NYC Architecture and Development

Foster and Partners is back for 2 WTC! I was really saddened to see what I thought as one of the best modern towers to be proposed be replaced with a stack of boxes by BIG, though there's not promising language surrounding if they're retaining the original design or not. Still holding hope...

Fenway Center (One Kenmore) | Turnpike Parcel 7, Beacon Street | Fenway

Double the height and width of this and that's what phase 2 approximately appears to be from this angle

The Sudbury (Bulfinch Crossing Residential Tower) | 50 Sudbury St | GCG Phase I | Gov't Center

It was my first time in a while approaching Boston from Rte. 2 today, and I love the effect/presence this has on the skyline from that angle. Solid building.

    Parcel P-12 | 286-290 Tremont St | Chinatown

Why is this project taking so long to get all the approvals? Not much is changing between iterations, and we've had the same general proposal for over a year now. Not to mention this thread started 12 years ago with a failed first round of proposals.

South Boston Innovation Campus | 2 Harbor Street | Seaport

At least the West Lot, which looks like it'd be difficult to build over due to the tunnel, is masked rather well from the plaza. There's also a BSWC easement (that would enter crazy development pitches if they wanted to relocate it) hugging the tunnel easement, so considering everything they...

Fenway Center (One Kenmore) | Turnpike Parcel 7, Beacon Street | Fenway

Wow, this building is absolutely massive! Some angles look sharp and proportional, and they're obviously playing with those in the presentation. Other angles are gonna make this thing look huge, like across the Charles for instance, where it will appear to be right between the BU data science...

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Yes, for the rest of the lower levels, that makes sense, but for the core, it seems to me as if that would have to be built from the bottom up. There's a lot of force going into and down that core when this thing gets built. Having it float/be underpinned seems like quite a challenge/nightmare.
