Bulfinch Crossing | Congress Street Garage | West End

It's very close to MGH. IMO it makes sense.

Bulfinch Crossing | Congress Street Garage | West End

I agree with the feelings that it being squat or short is not the problem, it's everything intersecting that identity.

    380 2nd Street | Everett

IMO places deserve good public transportation before they become wealthy and gentrified :)

Takeda/Global Arts Live | 585 Third Street | Kendall Square

Not the worst, but I think it would be better if the big time corporations who want lots of space were the ones who moved to the areas with more space. The advantage of Kendall Square is lots of people with lots of diverse ideas and lots of investors in high density, that value added is...

Takeda/Global Arts Live | 585 Third Street | Kendall Square

Takeda has leased lab space all over Cambridge, especially in Cambridgeport. I think this is an effort to lease fewer buildings and have more people in the same location. I believe the reason lab development is taking off even more since COVID is that it's more resilient to the new nature of...

MIT East Campus - Kendall Square Gateway | Cambridge

I'm offended because it (along with a lot of other parts of this project) flies in the face of what MIT said in community meetings for this project. They held a whole bunch of public meetings that were clearly just for show. They didn't take any feedback from it. I get that it wouldn't mean...

MIT East Campus - Kendall Square Gateway | Cambridge

Everybody who I've ever seen walk by it, including myself, has just been confused. There is no context. There is no explanation. And, why, of all possible art, is this what they put? This has no contextual relationship to anything going on in the area. There is a huge space here practically...

MIT East Campus - Kendall Square Gateway | Cambridge

Oh god no why. Is there seriously no better artwork that they can come up with here?

MIT Museum/Book Store | née Boeing | 314 Main St. | Kendall Square

I agree with all of this. The one thing I don't get is - why is rent for that spot unreasonably high? After six years the market has spoken. Half a loaf is better than none.

MIT Museum/Book Store | née Boeing | 314 Main St. | Kendall Square

I'm hoping a lot of retail arrives/comes back. I'm honestly a little pessimistic on it, though. I don't know if it's the area, or if MIT or Graffito just suck at it, but that retail spot next to Sulmona/Cafe Luna/Aveda has been unfilled for six years straight. They're marketing, but will they...

    Not really on topic lol

MXD Residential Tower | 135 Broadway | Kendall Square

All of those sites are kind of too small for the footprint a building like this would merit. I do think that the current site 6 plan is a waste and they should go taller, but they can't/wouldn't go that tall. Volpe is the best bet for something that exceeds this building's height.

    🔹 What's Happening With Project X?

Judging by the Harbor Towers..."maybe we can solve one problem with another"

That cladding already looks very cool.

    Channelside (née P&G) | 244-248 A Street | Fort Point

I do think we need to rethink the commons, especially in a city that is submerged in 3 feet of tundric ice* for four months of the year. Why not have more indoor public spaces, or public spaces with permanent programming (like interactive sculptures) that will have meaning even when sparsely...

Hotel Buckminster Renovation | Brookline Ave & Beacon St | Kenmore Square (Fenway)

I'm only onboard if the Popeye's comes back.

It was so bad that it had a wait list.
