The parking garage makes it look like a building that they forgot to finish the bottom of. The garage looks like scaffolding.

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

I mean those tracks look pretty wobbly up and down and stuff but I bet their gauge is better than the GLX. Kidding aside, I really appreciate everyone on here's insight.

Commuters Ditched Public Transit for Work From Home. Now There’s a Crisis.

For the 93 bus there used to be 18 min headways. Now IF they followed the schedule there would be 60+ min headways. The big IF there is that they don't have enough drivers so if they planned on having 3 drivers but only 2 show up the first 2 runs on the line in the morning run then the 3 run...

City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

I walk through the plaza everyday. The most impactful difference I have noticed is the change in bird diversity. I now hear bird calls of atleast a half a dozen different bird species when I walk through early in the morning. I know it's probably not going to change a lot of minds about the...

I haven't seen the cones back all week. Has this been scrapped already?

    North Washington St Bridge

I noticed that the cones went out yesterday. Nobody seems to be using it north bound as two lanes though. There is no signage saying to use it for north bound traffic and there doesn't feel like enough room to use the coned off area for north bound.

It just says that they (MassDOT) are going to give an updated timeline at next month public meeting. Since this was published in September I assume that mean there is a meeting this month? Anyone know when and where?

    North Washington St Bridge

Right, if the only thing to report is doing repairs to temporary bridge, then this project is going no where fast. I did notice that it looks like they have painted the steel that is in place, but I never saw an update on that. Maybe it's been painted for awhile and I just noticed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Two lanes or one?

I'm sure there are a million examples of this all over the city, but this one has started a pretty big fight between me and the misses and if nothing else hopefully a discussion on here from the great minds of archBoston will settle this once and for all. The question: is it two lanes or one...

The only recent work I have seen is they added the wooden pile fenders under the bridge for the boat channel.

I used to take my daughter when she would get out of school at a place downtown to the Children's Museum on $1 Fridays. We would usually take the #7 bus and it was a fairly easy trip. When she started going to a different school and we would typically be coming from Charlestown to go to the...

I was wondering why this has not been in the paper for so long and then all of a sudden was. I was hoping that it was because a solution had been found and they didn't want it in the paper until they could also follow up with the good news. Hopefully if we poke this with enough sticks we will...

I really have nothing to contribute on the discussion in regards to my own opinion. But in true land survey fashion, I find the subject of "such documents" to be too good not to research. Attached is the deed for the access roads. And below are some of the plans of interest:

I am unfamiliar with the project, but I do spent a lot of time looking at google street view, and I did stay at a Holiday Inn. The island in the middle did shift. Watch the location of the fire hydrant in relation to the curbs. I agree though that I don't see a new bike lane and I don't see why...
