South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

One Post Office Square looks phenomenal in its context. I was just admiring it a few days ago. Very few buildings around One Post Office and South Station are glass, so both really add.

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

We might just be arguing semantics. Of course the owners will try to get whatever fees from hosting other events they can. But these stadiums are built specifically for the game of soccer, to create more of a European club feel, so I don't think of them as "multi purpose venues" by design.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

I think the building looks great from this angle.

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

How do you explain all the stand-alone soccer-specific stadiums being build in the US? E.g. GEODIS Park.

State Street HQ | One Congress | Bulfinch Crossing | West End

I can see that are still working up to the top finishing the floors, so I'm hoping they'll add some more lighting when that's complete. Probably not. I think the renders had the top lit but obv that means nothing.

    General Boston Discussion

Anyone think 'smarter' streetlights, and even AI, might help traffic? These changes seem pretty modest. I wonder which city has the most advanced traffic signals.

State Street HQ | One Congress | Bulfinch Crossing | West End

Anyone have any guesses as to whether the top "fin" will ever be lit up?Or maybe some lighting around the cylinder on top? The area looks very different with the garage gone. Can't wait for congress st to open up.

    New Bedford Developments

Aw I have to say I love this bridge. Not the most efficient, but I'd be sad to see it go.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Per the radio, this project is halted pending safety reviews. Hope they get back on track soon.

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

And how often is the property full of people on warm sunny days?

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Apparently I imagined it. Could have been a glare. Bummer.

    Cambridge Crossing (NorthPoint) | East Cambridge/Charlestown | Cambridge/Boston

That old residential building in the foreground with the random, broken up lines is the ugliest building Ive every seen. CX is doing a decent job of incorporating it

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

I only caught a quick glimpse, but looks the crown lighting has been completed with some additional skinny lines below the original lights. Looking forward to some new photos.

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

Love how they have Rutherford Ave mostly underground in that render. There could be a huge greenway with a great view of the West End where that hideous street is now.

    AI Redraws Boston

Amazing. Did you tell the AI to paint it in 19th century realism style? It certainly has that look.

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

Sounds like something that should be heavily subsidized by state and city governments (maybe the feds too?) What could be more environmentally friendly than decontaminating an old industrial site and making it useable and climate resilient?

Lyrik Back Bay | 1001 Boylston Street (Parcel 12) | Back Bay

The view INBOUND ON 90 is the view of the city almost every single person visiting from west of Boston sees. That said, I don't think it's a huge deal. I do think you and Dave need to lose the attitude.

Lyrik Back Bay | 1001 Boylston Street (Parcel 12) | Back Bay

Thanks for the pics. I have to say I don't like how this new building blocks the Pru when i'm heading inbound on 90.
