Had a quick trip to Boston, and captured this one on my way out today morning. Could have captured more, but the sweet embrace of sleep was too much to overcome:

I was pleasantly surprised at how busy and vibrant most of the seaport was -- the restaurants and retail areas were packed, and the holiday market area was particularly hopping. However, this vibrancy died down at around 10pm. Given this area has added a relatively large residential component...

Can't wait for this building to be completed. As others have stated, this would nicely fill a very noticeable hole in this area: It's hard to tell, but the last 2 pictures capture installation of window panes on the western side of the building.

Before I moved out of Boston, this area was more or less vast expanses of parking lots in the early stages of the transformation of the seaport district. Every time I come back to this hood, it always blows me away how much things have changing, by and large for the BETTER. The work the posters...

They could do soooo much better with this space. Maybe it felt bleak, impersonal and desolate because it was empty during the time, but I'm curious to hear how how the plaza feels when it's packed with people?
