    Maybe "groupie" was the wrong term to use for an 8 or 9 year old. 😆 My haunts were Central Maine fairs....Skowhegan, Windsor & Union. I remember collecting bags full of harness racing tickets that people threw away....such simple times back then. Another driver name.....Ruel Goodblood!

    Freeman Parker was one of my grandmother's favorites. I was a bit of a harness racing groupie as a kid....doing the fair circuit with my grandmother. Walter Case Jr., Doug Gray, etc. I can't believe those names are still in my head....lol.
