    Elks Club

    I hear the Elks Club building on outer Congress has been/going to be sold, and they are moving to Warren Avenue into the soon to be vacated Keeley Caterers/Function building. Rumor has it that Husson College has their eye on the Elks building on Congress for their local campus.

    Old Mobil Station On Brighton Ave.

    I see where the old Mobil gas station at Brighton Avenue & Riverside Street in Portland is finally being razed. It has been the subject of many photos posted on the internet. It will be interesting to see what goes in its' place.

    New Bar at the Mall

    Maybe old news, I saw Jimmy The Greek's is opening in old Sebago Brewing (?) "out building" at the Maine Mall. They are putting quite bit of work into the outside of the place, but if it is anything like the one in OOB, it doesn't have much to offer inside except noisy dining/drinking.
