    DNA Lofts in Boston

There were 8 deed restricted units however only one of them sold back in 09. I believe that the BRA released those units from affordability. It's possible that they have not or want them converted to rental units. I dont think much has happened to those units. It looks like unit 19 sold in 09...

    MA Casino Developments

I think the Casino should go on the East Boston Waterfront where the old piers are. Imagine taking a free water taxi form the airport to the Seaport, Aquarium or Casino right form the airport. I'm sure the casino would front the costs to get some free transport around our harbor.

    DNA Lofts in Boston

Here are the numbers that I have been able to find on the DNA lofts Sale/Auction. Some decent buys in there for home ownership but I don'd see rental units at these prices. DNA LOFTS SALES STATS Unit Sq Ft Sale Date Sales Price SP Per Sq Ft Approx condo fee 1 997 3/19/2010...

    DNA Lofts in Boston

Looks like they only sold 12 units so far with at least 17 units remaining for sale. I think they have more like 25 units left but I don't know exactly. Looks like they sold for about $210-$250 per sq ft excluding the two small units that sold. I can only assume the remaining units will go...

    DNA Lofts in Boston

I am not surprised that the auction fell apart at the seems. The pricing was wrong! I ended up being out of the country so I couldn't attend. I'd really like to hear where the gavel swung on the units that did sell.

    DNA Lofts in Boston

There is no Home Inspection contingency and the only financing contingency is through their lender, who probably sent someone through the building already, so I would encourage potential bidders to really go through the building with someone in the know prior to bidding. In a perfect world...

    DNA Lofts in Boston

I am not here to sell units. I have been following the project for 5 years. Prices in this part of Dorchester are all over the place. I've seen one bedroom distrssed condos go for $50,000 and I've seen stuff approach 400K. I was booted out of a Duplex when the owner strategically defaulted and...

    DNA Lofts in Boston

As far at Dot goes, Ashmont Hill, Savin Hill, Jones Hill, Wellesley Park are all much nicer neighborhoods. There are a lot worse places though!!

    DNA Lofts in Boston

So the DNA lofts finally go up for auction. This should have happened years ago! I'm not holding my breath for prices much higher than the min bid. While the neighborhood is better than many parts of Dorchester, it will never be South Boston, Cambridge, the Ville or the Southend. Yes, i've...
