    Recent underrated projects

4 projects that did not get enough props when built, so I'll give some now. 1. Hayward Place. It took forever to fill this lot but the end result was worth it. I love the dark glass. Extends Downtown Crossing and links it with the area around Millennium Place and beyond. 2. Liberty Mutual...

    Russia/Atlantic Wharf appreciation thread

I dont think that this development got the credit that it deserved. They did an excellent job of preserving the facades on 3 old buildings, and the tower is handsome (albeit short, but tall-ish by Boston standards). This is also the one legit highrise that got snuck in during the down period...

    International Place Appreciation Thread

I know some people on here question the architectural merits of the International Place complex, particularly the windows, but I've never had a problem with that. I love the presence this complex has; just immense by Boston standards. I hope what we end up getting at the Harbor Towers garage...

    Good book

Bought this last week; lots of great historical Boston photos going as far back as the 1850's. http://www.amazon.com/Historic-Photos-Boston-Photos/dp/1596523050
