    Channel Center | Fort Point

Many of the streets in downtown Austin are under construction to reduce car lanes and to widen sidewalks in what the city calls the "Great Streets" program. I've lived in Austin almost seven years, and I think the city deserves a lot of credit for the strides we've made to improve the urban...

    Millennium Tower (Filene's) | 426 Washington Street | Downtown

Re: Filene's There was a big hole in the ground at 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue in NYC for a few years. That's a block from Times Square. The hole was dug in 2003, and it's just now getting built on. Granted it was just a parking lot before.

    Rose Kennedy Greenway

Reflecting pools are generally really depressing in the winter months (Christian Science Center is desolate at that time of year). There would need be an active use planned for winter time. Red Line Construction

I don't mind the green metal at all, but I do anticipate a somewhat disappointing unfinished look to the station.

    Rose Kennedy Greenway

The rendering is really bad. I think the building will look better than it is depicted in watercolors. Why on earth did they create a rendering that makes the building look bad? Most times we see super slick photos with the proposed building digitally imposed into it. The results tend to show...

GrandMarc Residence Hall (YMCA) @ Northeastern U | 291 St. Botolph Street | Fenway

I lived in the YMCA my freshman year at Northeastern. The building is great piece of architecture - a landmark for sure. It was renovated several years ago, but much of the intereor renovations were of a low-quality and effectiveness. The dorms that are contained in the "Hastings Wing" of the Y...
