Some new renderings of the Merc from @TheMercWaltham twitter page. What a major improvement to the Main and Moody intersection. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B34qrTXCQAIWDX8.png:large https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B3xmaqjCAAIB62b.png:large...

Thanks for all the updates. Do you know if crews are expected to finish sidewalks before winter? They seem to moving along nicely, just a lot of work ahead given rest of Moody (not to mention brick work) and then all of Main St. Plus new lighting. Tree planting in the spring?

Take this with the worlds biggest grain of salt, but I had sent a direct message to the MBTA on twitter about the 70 and late night service, and I did get a response that "Rt 70 is within the next tier of buses we hope to consider for #LateNightT if future resources become available." Biggest...

I tend to agree. I always tell my friends, it's not hard for me to get into the city, it's hard for me to get home. If it means anything, Watertown News reported that a Study of 70 Bus is being sought by residents. More for Watertown than Waltham, though the entire route needs it. In the mean...

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

Re: Somerville Soccer Stadium Just going to throw my two cents in here. Wife and I currently live in Waltham. She is from Rhode Island, so we spend a lot of time in the Ocean State. As much as I think Providence is a fine enough city, I don't see myself going out of my way to attend a Revs game...

Do you know who or how the City determines if sidewalks will be concrete or asphalt? I guess the obvious answer is they seem to reserve concrete for downtown proper? Personally do not like the aesthetic appeal of asphalt, unless there is some advantage over concrete I'm not privy to? Wish the...

The "MERC" at Moody & Main | Waltham

Re: The "MERC" at Moody & Main Thanks for all the photo and video updates! Really nice to see all those building erased and relatively quickly too! Beyond thrilled to see this project becoming a reality. I know it's a year out, but once One Moody itself eventfully falls, I think a bottle of...

Re: Downtown Waltham Streetscape Improvements I am glad that the final segment of Route 117 will be repaved, but its surprising that they decided to go with sharrows throughout, instead of a bike lane. The road *seems* plenty wide, with the exception the additional turn lanes near the 1030...

Re: Downtown Waltham Streetscape Improvements Not really good news, but I would just would like to add that according to previous Waltham Traffic Commission minutes: Main St. - The complexity of pavement markings and parking requires a comprehensive study; recommended no [bike lanes] at this...
