I snagged this photo from the PNF. As a NU alum, the principle thought crossing my mind is how beautiful the day will be when Stetsons East & West, and Speare Hall, get the same redevelopment treatment as we've seen in the rest of neighborhood.
Seems like the standards around here hit rock bottom whenever there’s the possibility of something having an impact on the sKyLiNe.
This design is pitifully lazy, unabashedly cheap looking and institutional in appearance. It'd be passable for a dorm tucked away out of sight of the general public on the Northeastern campus but it's not appropriate for a market rate residential building next door to the MFA. Hopefully the BCDC forces them to either up their game big time or pound sand.
