“Puma has opened in their new North American headquarters at Assembly Row, located in Somerville.

The sports apparel company said Wednesday it plans to relocate its "brand management" and "marketing operations" departments from the Boston area to the company's headquarters in Germany.”

I can't imagine this is a good thing(?), but I also know absolutely nothing about this type of corporate maneuvering. Anyone have any insight?
 
I just saw that Cabot, Cabot & Forbes acquired the Home Depot and old Circuit City site at 65-75 Mystic Ave. I doubt they’re going to do anything with it before the cycle ends, though.
