Thanks, I have never been to Orange, MA either. One thing I love about driving around the Bay State is how you can just "stumble" upon these old cities and towns that you had no idea existed. Each town has something unique to offer.

I'll add a couple from various locations (I may have posted some of these before):

Rockport, MA:

Assonet, MA:

Westport, MA:

Old Orchard Beach, Maine:

Worcester, MA:

Fall River, MA:

Thanks I got a lot more pix's of cities and town I will post soon! thanks for your pix's I hope other's will post also!

^Good. after I posted I had hope this wasn't a thread you were hoping to post only your photos in (that I hijacked by posting mine).

What brought you to Orange? This posted prompted me to wikipedia (verb?) it because I had only heard the name once or twice and didn't know a thing about it. I look forward to seeing more of your pics. I get around New England a bunch, so I'll try to bring my camera with me from now on.

Cool! work brought me to Orange. twice this past year I had to drive to Rutland Vt. both winter and fall. As always most of my pix's are taken while driving! Outside Rutland

^^ It's October. Everyone misses New England in October.

See how you feel in February/March.

Beautiful foliage shots, this weekend seems to be the 'grand finale' of colours.

^up north it is! Went to Yarmouth Mass.(Cape Cod) today for work not much interesting there except the huge bird nest on top of old city hall, not much foliage!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite threads.

And as far as the birds go, an exposed nest of that size and that high up is typical of a bird of prey. Perhaps an Osprey or Hawk. I don't know if it's QUITE big enough to be an Eagle's nest, but I'm no expert. Lots of Ospreys and Redtail Hawks on the Cape.

Had to go to Nantucket Mass. on a very cold late winter day! It was my 1st time there and I only had an hour.

What a cool building. Wonder if they can fix it up?

I need to do some sightseeing around New England.

When I moved to Boston we had to go back and forth along Route 2 back to Troy, NY to finish up the old house during the fall. I will never forget those road trips.
