I thought I'd start a thread for Littleton, since it's broken ground on a major development. Lupoli Corp, better known for Sals Pizza and the Riverside Redevelopment in Lawrence, broke ground yesterday on a 2.3 million sqft Redevelopment of the Littleton IBM/HP/DEC office complex, which will include 800+ residential units, 600k sqft of Office/R&D/lab space, a 150-room hotel and 115k sqft of retail/restaurant space. Note that the office/lab space is largely simply renovation of the existing office complex space, and new development is largely confined to existing surface parking with replacement parking being structured. The developers here are getting deeply tied into Littleton; they're getting some 13M in state and ARPA money. In addition to the office complex, Lupoli also currently controls the Littleton Mill across Great Road from the office park, which itself is proposed for 230+ units, which is how the press releases get into 1000+. Technically, all of this falls under Littleton's MBTA zoning, though the proposal preceded the zoning. In addition, the town is scheduled to vote today in town meeting whether or not to sell the existing Littleton Town Hall and build a new one in a land swap, with the current site becoming 60 units of deeply affordable senior housing. Despite needing to go through the public procurement process, all odds are that will be part of this project, as there's mention of some sort of community benefits agreement, though there is the neighboring Northern Bank redevelopment, which is building 38k of retail/office just up the street.
These renders are likely out of date, as they've noted new renders and phases soon.
