I searched high and low for a designated blue line extension thread but couldn't find one...

Over at ArchBoston.org (a great architecture forum) someone posted a link to the EOT's website for the Red Line/ Blue Line connector.

I occasionally post on both sites and I've brought up archboston before. I don't think they're that interested in architecture...

Seems to be a very unusual social structure. For instance, there?s a leader who seems to pride himself on his organizational skills and a certain amount of discipline.?You posted in the wrong place ? Stay on topic, people ? Don?t use capital letters ? I don?t have time to tell you twice,? when clearly he does have time to tell us twice.


With apologies to Aaron "Benji" Sorkin, who learned the hard way about crazy people online, then wrote an episode about it.
 
Ron Newman, where ISN'T he?, posts there. So of course there is significant cross traffic, although not cross posting, between these forums.
 
haven't been to railroad.net in a while, but I'll probably wander back eventually.
 
I used to post there a lot but they got so anal when it comes to talking about buses (like the Silver Line) that I just said the hell with it. The site is dedicated to railroads which I respect but they were so strict it just wasn't worth my time.

Still there are some amazing things you can learn from people on there and I wouldn't know what I do without a lot of those great posters.

I'm pretty sure the mod on the forum doesn't actually post. he patrols threads looking for ANY excuse he can find to exercise his authority.

There's a wealth of interesting info on there, but like others have said the moderators take their jobs way too seriously.
 
I used to post there a lot but I got so sick of the "youre venturing off topic, LOCK" that I could no longer handle it.
 
Is there a comparable forum for MBTA buses? That seems to be their biggest complaint.
 
I used to post there regularly, but was really put off by their total failure to recover from some sort of disk crash that erased years of old posts.
