Has anyone ever seen these? They're very interesting, and I really like the design. When Beton posted that interview with Paul Rudolph, it reminded me of these since they're modular, and Mr. Rudolph thinks that modular, pre-fabricated buildings are the way of the future. He also thinks they can allow for limitless innovation and creativity, which seems to be people's fear. These Modern-Sheds, by Grey Design (out of Seattle, these are very Pac. NW looking) seem to address that. Anyhow, take a look.

Ikeatecture. I'd totally live in one.

Rudolph's prefab components were precast concrete. These are more humane, and easier to market. They'd look great lakeside in Northern New England.

And precast concrete is a pain in the neck to ship. I don't think the material matters so much, as long as it's innovative and progressing. This could be a good use of Alucobond, no? They use some sort of cement board+wood fiber siding right now.

A shame Rudolph never got to play with LiTraCon.

For a second I thought that this was a new airport scanner!

Dwelling-Shed? Looks like a luxury hunting camp! Sign me up.

Roll it out onto a frozen pond and it would be a spiffy place to ice-fish. Pontoons would make it a servicable houseboat. Pretty slick.
