I don't think this has been covered in another thread.

"a 360,000-square-foot laboratory and 355 to 455 parking spaces on land it is leasing from Emmanuel College on Avenue Louis Pasteur.

In a letter of intent filed with the BRA, Brigham and Women’s describes the proposed new building as a “research wet-laboratory facility.” An existing building and parking garage on the property would be demolished to make way for the new building."

^^^^ Article also covers NECM building.

I'm guessing it's these guys:

Herald article says that Emmanuel will use the proceeds from B&W's lease of the site to build a large new residence hall on Brookline Ave.

Emmanuel’s master plan shows a sleek glass structure [new B&W building] matching up with the adjacent Harvard Medical School and Merck research buildings.

The hospital said it expects to file a detailed project application in early January.

[Building to be demolished] Alumnae Hall was built in 1948 as an academic science building but Brigham and Women’s has used it for offices and research for a few years.

Does anyone know what's going on at Joslin? The empty lot across from the small mall and hotel is fenced off and it looks like some digging or dirt moving is happening. Are they simply cleaning up the site after the tower failed?

Does B&W plan to proceed with this at the same time as the MassMental Health project?

anyone know what this is about?
