This is a fairly substantial infrastructure project. It is installing a submersible port for the offloading of LNG tankers off the coast, and ties directly into the pipeline laid in 2003.

It will not stop boats from going to Everett. Different company. But has anyone been following it?

I live in Chelsea's waterfront, so anything affecting tankers going to Everett is a major concern for me. If anyone has more info on this project, or any other similar projects effecting Chelsea/Revere/East Boston, I'd appreciate it.

This project will not affect the tankers going to the Distrigas terminal. It is for Algonquin Gas, according to materials at the web site.
