I have high hopes for this project, I expect it to look very good and fit in well with the neighborhood. Projects like this show you can build brick rowhouse type buildings today that are modern looking and fit in with the old neighborhoods and dont have to try to look like something from the past.
 
Yeah, adding that characterless brick and plain windows is a buzzkill.
 
reminds me a little of canaday hall over at harvard.
 
Im holding off judgement until its complete, I still have faith itll come together once the ground floor and roof are finished. I dont expect it to be incredible, but itll prob be fine.
 
It is interesting that this was designed by Hacin + Associates, which is the firm that arguable does the best contemporary design in brick in Boston.
 
I walk by this place regularly, and I think it looks good. There are some nice details in the facade that I don’t think the pictures capture.
