Submit your most provocative ideas in the SHIFTboston international design competition.
The SHIFTboston challenge is intended for architects, artists, landscape architects, urban designers, engineers and anyone else who would like to tackle the question: WHAT IF this could happen in Boston? SHIFTboston seeks to collect new visions for Boston's urban environment. We want innovative and radical ideas for new city elements such as: public art installation, landscape, architecture, urban intervention and transportation. Competitors should explore topics such as: renewable energy, energy efficiency and ecological urbanism. I encourage members and readers to submit their ideas here. As I've stated before, anything that gets people discussing and thinking about these things is a good thing . And there are so many good ideas floating around here. The more eyeballs they're exposed to, the better.
